Jürg and Lynn collaborated to write, photograph, edit, market and publish Vuitton Pacific Series – The Friendly Games during a three-week period that spanned January and February 2009.
Within hours of the prize giving for the Louis Vuitton Pacific Series, a coffee table book with a foreword by regatta organizer, Bruno Troublé, was available for distribution. It was the first time that a comprehensive regatta book documenting the event, the organizers, the sponsors, the spectators and the environment was completed to such high standards, including Louis Vuitton’s, in such a short period of time. Many of the teams presented their VIP’s, sponsors and prospective sponsors with the book as a memento.
Louis Vuitton Pacific Series – The Friendly Games had just the right balance of prose, and eye-popping photos and immediately became the perfect keepsake for everyone attending this historic match racing event in Auckland, NZ.
